Don’t Cry
Don’t cry.
Don’t let the storm win.
Even the heaviest rain must end,
and light will bleed through broken clouds again.
Don’t hide
the raging tide within.
What floods the heart but never speaks
will drown the voice that silence keeps.
Don’t chain
your sorrow to the past.
The ghosts you feed will starve the now
each tear becomes the weight you vow.
So, rise
not every wound must show.
But let the tide recede, return,
until the fire inside you burns.
