My heart ached reading this because of the profound truth in it. Don't try to control your path - let it reveal itself to you. Really vibrates something deep within. I need a tissue! I really love the spirit in your work. It's beautiful.

The thoughtfulness of taking time. To notice. To listen. To be. The world needs this medicine ~ always.

The path home was straight like a spine ! Such a striking image and so layered. I really enjoyed this piece. Thanks for sharing.

Those long and winding roads always seem to teach us the most. ❤️ I love the reminder here that purpose isn’t always found in the straight path, but in the detours, the pauses, and the people we meet along the way. Beautiful piece, Dorie.

This was beautiful, Dorie. The line about “purpose practicing its joints” especially stayed with me. There’s such gentleness here toward wandering, detours, and becoming. Really loved this one.

The daughter sharing rice after the cartwheel cracks... I like that the lesson doesn’t arrive glowing on a mountain, it arrives in someone’s hand with food, which is bossier tenderness than I was prepared for~

I think those small acts of kindness and compassion are much greater lessons in life than books can give. 🩷
